East Wavertree & Childwall Community Association (EWCCA) is a charitable organisation based in Childwall, whose objective is to provide social welfare for recreation and leisure to the local area.
The Association is governed by a Council of Trustees who oversee all aspects of the site, including the Tennis and Bowls Sections.
Our site at Dunbabin Road consists the following:
- A crown green bowling green and pavilion,
- 6 artificial grass tennis courts
- Modern clubhouse with licensed bar
- A community hall with stage, sprung flooring and its own kitchen facilities.
The community hall is available for hire and currently activities range from ballet, tai chi & table tennis to whist drives and indoor bowls.
The EWC bowls play outdoor 7 days a week, weather permitting.
